When I was searching for an obstetrician, several doctors turned me away because I am a quadriplegic. I was ecstatic when the Loch Haven OB/GYN Group accepted me. All the doctors were so wonderful. They involved me in my care, and I felt I could really talk to them about my concerns. As a first-time mom, they had time for all my questions, explained everything I needed to know, and really made me feel comfortable. The doctors put my mind at ease in regards to my paralysis and muscle spasms not harming the baby.

The staff encouraged me to see all the doctors in the group so that I would be familiar with the doctor who would end up delivering my baby. The physicians all had great bedside manners, were very knowledgeable, spoke in “layman’s terms,” and were very down to earth. After a quick 10-minute delivery in a tranquil, calm setting, I delivered baby Pierce. After 24 hours in NICU for fluid retention, he was a perfectly healthy baby.
