At Loch Haven OB/GYN, we offer complete women’s care through a team of experienced physicians and midwives. Members or our provider team have consistently been listed in expert rankings such as "Best Doctors in America" and "Central Florida's Top Doctors,” and serve as leaders in the midwifery and physician community. We have hand-picked caring and talented physicians and midwives. In fact, our providers consistently rank at the top of hospital patient care surveys.

Our physicians are leaders in the medical field and work hard to practice cutting-edge medicine. In fact, several of our physicians and midwives give national lectures and help prestigious medical journals review articles for publication. Our entire faculty has been chosen to participate in teaching medical students and young doctors through Florida Hospital’s Graduate Medical Education program, and serve as faculty for the Florida State College of Medicine and University of Central Florida College of Medicine.

The Loch Haven OB/GYN midwives and physicians believe that your safety is critically important. Because of this, our providers are a part of hospital safety committees that involves women’s health. And, many of our physicians and midwives serve as leaders in the hospital, helping hospital administrators and staff to run the hospital safely and efficiently. We are proud that Loch Haven Ob/Gyn was the first practice in the entire United States to receive formal recognition by the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology as being safety certified.

Jessica Auffant, MD

Jessica Auffant, MD received her medical degree from Florida State University College of Medicine. She completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Winnie Palmer Hospital for Women and Babies in Orlando, FL, where she served as chief resident.

Lynda Balint, MD

Lynda Balint, MD, received her undergraduate degree from the University of Rochester, Rochester, New York, and her medical degree from the State University of New York at Stony Brook. She completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Albert Einstein College of Medicine/Montefiore Medical Center in New York

Scott Boone, MD

Dr. Boone received academic scholarships to Duke (Angier B. Duke Award) and to UNC-Chapel Hill (Morehead Fellowship) for undergraduate studies and medical school respectively. He subsequently trained in Family Practice at the University of South Carolina, and then he completed his OB/GYN residency at the University of Florida in Jacksonville.

Mark Crider, MD

Dr. Crider received his medical degree from the University of Kentucky College of Medicine. He completed his general surgery internship at Wake Forest University and his Obstetrics and Gynecology residency at Bethesda North Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Ashley Hill, MD

Dr. Hill received his medical degree from the University Of South Florida College Of Medicine. He completed an internship at Louisiana State University’s Charity Hospital in New Orleans and residency training at the University Of South Florida College Of Medicine in Tampa.

Jill Marie Johnson, DO

Dr. Johnson is an outstanding clinician and researcher who joins Loch Haven OB/GYN from the University of South Carolina, where she recently completed her obstetrics and gynecology residency. She has substantial training and experience in laparoscopic surgery, high-risk pregnancies, and adolescent gynecology.

Gargey Patil, MD

Dr. Patil received his undergraduate degree from University of Pennsylvania and his medical degree from Jefferson Medical College. He completed his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Medical College of Pennsylvania/Hahnemann University Hospital.

Jillian Artis, ARNP, CNM

Jillian Artis, ARNP, CNM, is a certified nurse midwife who began her career in the labor and delivery unit at Saint Joseph Hospital in Chicago in 2011.

Stacy Butschek, MSN, CNM, ARNP

Her advanced training and multitude of certifications, combined with a level of compassion that seems to come naturally, make both patients and physicians feel comfortable and confident in her care. Her active community service at a local church and professional memberships in Association of Women’s Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses and American College of Nurse-Midwives, prove her dedication to patient care, and the life-giving field of labor and delivery nursing

Deborah Brown, ARNP, CNM

Deborah brown, ARNP, CNM received her Master of Science in Nursing degree with a concentration in nurse midwifery from East Carolina University. As a certified nurse-midwife, she has served as both a clinical director for labor and deliver and a childbirth educator.
