Dr. Ashley Hill, M.D., is the medical director of Florida Hospital's Loch Haven OB/GYN Group. He has served also served as associate director for the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology for Florida Hospital’s Family Medicine Residency Program since 1998. He received his medical degree from the University of South Florida College of Medicine. He completed an internship at Louisiana State University’s Charity Hospital in New Orleans, and residency training at the University of South Florida College of Medicine in Tampa.

Dr. Hill has published a number of papers in medical journals and on the Internet. He has appeared in several national magazines, such as Parenting, Marie Claire, and Baby, and on national broadcasts such as The Early Show on CBS, America’s Health Network, and Discovery Health Channel’s Birth Day Live.

Dr. Hill prides himself on taking the time to get to know his patients, thoroughly addressing their needs and concerns. His special interests are in gynecological surgery, ultrasonography, and medical education.

Appointments include co-director of the Florida Hospital Perinatal Services Morbidity and Mortality Conference; and member of the Pediatrics/Neonatal Ethics Committee, Perinatal High Reliability Committee, and Ob/Gyn Quality Improvement Committee. He volunteers to speak at colleges, high schools, civic organizations, and on the Internet. He is a member of the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists and is Board Certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
