Laparoscopic Surgery

At 30 years old, Tara had large uterine fibroids. Fibroids are non-cancerous tumors of the uterus that can range from the size of a pin head to larger than a watermelon. Tara’s fibroids grew to the point that she was uncomfortable. She started to have heavy periods which led to anemia.
